Teaching the Next Generation
My life has been a cool journey of creating art and sharing my knowledge and skill as a teacher. I feel so blessed that my job is so fun and rewarding. I have been an artist for as long as I can remember, even at a young age drawing and coloring were a big part of my day. It was no surprise when I decided to choose art as my major in college. I graduated from the Art Center College of Design with my BFA in Illustration.
As for the present, I am based in Yorba Linda, where I have lived for the past 25 years and raised my three fabulous children. I started teaching art about 16 years ago, with an emphasis on building a foundation in drawing and painting while gaining skills using a wide variety of mediums and have expanded to teach at a variety of schools in many communities in addition to my private art classes held in Yorba Linda. My art classes are encouraging, imaginative and focused on developing strong art skills and knowledge.
